In 2012, LMR Designs embarked on a partnership with Marketect (http://www.marketect.org), an architectural studio specializing in the design of retail stores. Marketect, with Arch. Georgina Aguila as its principal designer, handled the conceptualization and design development, while LMR Designs took on construction supervision and implementation.
Among the projects completed under the partnership were various branches of retail stores Fitness & Athletics Company, Bambu, Chris Sports, and Empire Golf.
FITNESS & ATHLETICS COMPANY
Fitness & Athletics Company is a sports equipment store with branches opened in Bonifacio Global City and Ayala Center Cebu. The stores were built in the industrial style, using materials such as concrete floors, and steel elements in various areas such as the check out counter, stair treads and balusters. The designers used architectural graphic patterns as a backdrop to the products (large exercise equipment) being showcased.

BAMBU
Bambu is a premium footwear store for those who are in the market for good quality, stylish flip-flops and sandals. It carries internationally-known brands such as Ipanema, Grendha, Gola, Rider and Zaxy.
The design concept for the retail stores was living the idyllic island life - a relaxed, comfortable life surrounded by nature and organic forms and materials. Hence, the use of light wood and bamboo-like structures running throughout the retail space.

As one of the major sports and fitness equipment stores in the Philippines, Chris Sports offers various international training and exercise equipment brands to its market. It aims to provide customers with a wide range of merchandise, which is why the designers opted for a clean and linear interior for easy organization and efficient showcasing of each product line.
